🏢 About the Role
Swashodhan Trust uses teledentistry as its primary dental care delivery model — making high-quality, low-cost dental care accessible in rural Adilabad. No dentist will normally be physically present. We are seeking a Dental Assistant & Tele-Dentistry Coordinator to manage the full on-site workflow: record clinical history, conduct oral examination documentation, capture intraoral images, take authorized X-rays, upload all data, generate SOAP reports, and coordinate virtual video consultations with the teledentist.
🧠 Role Summary
The dental assistant independently manages the complete on-site teledentistry workflow. Current services are limited to screening, identification, prevention, documentation, referral, and follow-up. Patients requiring curative care are referred to RIMS Hospital, Adilabad with complete records, then return for virtual teledentist follow-up. Dentists examine patients physically only during scheduled health camps. The selected candidate has a clear pathway to become owner/operator of the Digital Health Clinic and share clinic revenue with the team after probation.

⚙️ Key Responsibilities
Register patients; obtain and document dental complaints, clinical and medical history, medicines, allergies, consent and oral-health risk factors in OpenEMR/EHR
Capture clear intraoral images using portable/mobile intraoral digital camera and take authorized X-rays using handheld mobile digital dental X-ray equipment, following infection-control and radiation-safety procedures
Upload all images to the approved system, generate a structured SOAP report, securely send the complete case to the teledentist, and arrange and support the virtual video consultation
Prepare complete records and formal referrals for patients requiring curative care; coordinate referral to RIMS Hospital, Adilabad, and track follow-up
Prepare, transport and maintain mobile equipment for village health camps and school dental screening programmes
