🏢 About the Role
Swashodhan Trust uses teleradiology as its primary diagnostic imaging model — delivering high-quality, low-cost X-ray services in rural Adilabad. A radiologist is not normally present at the clinic. We are seeking an X-Ray Technician & Teleradiology Coordinator to manage the full on-site imaging workflow: patient registration, positioning, image capture and processing, transmission to the teleradiologist, and forwarding of reports to the referring physician and patient.
🧠 Role Summary
Current services are limited to imaging, documentation, referral, and follow-up. Patients requiring further care are referred with complete records to RIMS Hospital, Adilabad, and return for virtual follow-up. Physicians attend physically only during scheduled health camps. The selected candidate has a clear pathway to become owner/operator of the clinic and share revenue with the team after probation. The Trust does not take a single paisa for the services and equipment it provides.
🕐 Clinic Hours: 9:00 AM – 8:00 PM | Location: Narnoor, Adilabad District (residential — must reside near clinic)
⚙️ Key Responsibilities
Register patients; obtain clinical indication, medical history, medications, allergies, consent and contraindications; enter details into the X-ray machine and OpenEMR/EHR
Position the patient and take required X-ray images using the portable/handheld unit, following correct technique, radiation-safety and infection-control procedures
Develop and process images; check diagnostic quality and repeat only when necessary
Send completed images with clinical indication and history to the teleradiologist for interpretation
Forward the teleradiologist's report to the referring physician and patient; arrange virtual consultations where needed
