On behalf of the District Medical and Health Department, Adilabad, I extend heartfelt appreciation to Swashodhan Trust for its unwavering commitment to enhancing healthcare services in our region. For the past four years, the Trust has been instrumental in providing telemedicine services to Tosham, a remote tribal village, significantly improving access to primary healthcare through remote consultations, follow-ups, and health education sessions. These services have reduced the need for long-distance travel and ensured timely medical attention, improving health outcomes.

The recent provision of a handheld X-ray machine has further strengthened our tuberculosis (TB) screening efforts. Within just 40 days, the device enabled 32 field visits and screened more than 1,400 individuals in high-risk and geographically challenging areas. Its portability and efficiency have proven invaluable in early detection and treatment.
