As part of the Pradhan Mantri TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyaan, Swashodhan Trust supported a 100-day TB Elimination Camp across interior tribal regions of Adilabad. In this video, the TB Control Officer of Adilabad explains how the initiative brought TB screening directly to underserved and high-risk communities using a portable handheld X-ray machine. From March to August, the team visited remote villages, schools, orphanages, old-age homes, and prisons—places where TB is more prevalent and healthcare access is limited. ✅ Over 7,000+ X-rays were conducted on-site ✅ 70–80 TB cases were detected early ✅ Vulnerable populations were screened without needing to travel This impactful intervention ensured that no one was left behind in the fight against tuberculosis.
